Bitcoin is a peer to peer electronic cash system developed by Satoshi Nakamoto that’s completely decentralized, with no central server, trusted parties, middlemen, state controlled thugs or banks getting involved with the initial private transactions.
Bitcoin is not real money per say. It’s an online “currency” with virtual tokens that can be exchanged for goods and services at places that accept it, the same way you’d give someone a dollar for a cookie.
